Welcome to the Whakatane RSA
We are open to members, their guests and affiliated club members.
Our staff are friendly and welcoming, and is a great place to unwind, relax, and have a drink and a catch up with friends and family.
Pool and snooker is a great way to have a get together. We have 2 full sized snooker tables and 3 pool tables. A game of pool is $1. If you prefer a game of darts, we have dart boards but please bring your own darts.

Our Dress Code reflects the Respect that we have for our Veterans and current serving Military Personnel. We promote a Whanau / Family Friendly environment where everyone can enjoy the Whakatane RSA. We encourage tidy & clean clothing and safe footwear.
NO – Soiled/dirty clothing, singlets, Hi-Viz work gears, Hoodies (worn over the head) or clothing with slogans, Gang affiliation or inappropriate pictures – NOT permitted
NO – Bare feet, Work boots, Gum boots, Slippers or socks only – NOT permitted
NO – Hats, Caps or Sunglasses – NOT permitted
There may be an exemption if the hat is for cultural grounds, medical reasons, and an integral part of woman’s outfit or for a special occasion.
As a member of the Whakatane RSA please ensure that your guests are aware of our Dress Code. You are ultimately responsible for the behaviour and dress standard of your Guests. If you’re unsure please contact our Manger or check with our Office Staff / Bar Staff before entering the Whakatane RSA.

Fishing Adjunct
The Whakatāne RSA Fishing Adjunct is a great way to get out on the water (or the shore) and enjoy a day of fishing with good company. Held on the 1st or 2nd weekend of each month (weather permitting), it’s open to Whakatāne RSA members and welcomes both boat and shore fishers. With cash prizes up for grabs and a relaxed, social atmosphere, it’s perfect for anyone keen to cast a line and be part of the fun.
